They had identified interesting needs and conceived strong product offerings. I was happy to share my enterprise mobility and sales experiences and insights with the young turks.<\/p>\n<p>AITI is a multidisciplinary group of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that promotes development in emerging regions by cultivating young technology entrepreneurs. AITI develops curriculum materials, software technologies, platforms, and networks that enable undergraduate students to innovate in the area of information and communication technologies (ICTs).<\/p>\n<p>Interesting Stats of AITI:<br \/>\n\u2022 Founded in 2000<br \/>\n\u2022 31 programs in 6 countries<br \/>\n\u2022 Over 1800 students instructed<br \/>\n\u2022 Over 120 MIT instructors participated<br \/>\n\u2022 Multiple startups founded by student groups<br \/>\n\u2022 Extension courses in Kenya and Rwanda<\/p>\n<p>At India Summer 2012 Program, it was very heartening to note that the passion and enthusiasm of the energetic entrepreneurs was being channelized into value propositions by MIT AITI Team.
