Execution is the bridge between Promises Made and Results Delivered.<br \/>\n2. Execution is the hidden differentiator<br \/>\n3. Execution is not simple tactics but is a separate and distinct business discipline. It is an integral part of the strategy.<br \/>\n4. Execution must be the main concern and focus of every business leader.<br \/>\n5. Execution must be placed at the very core of the corporate culture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Building Blocks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are three building blocks of Strategy:<\/p>\n<p>A. Leaders who understand execution<br \/>\nB. Culture focused on execution<br \/>\nC. Right people in the right places<\/p>\n<p>Let us look into the more details:<\/p>\n<p>A. Leaders who understand execution<\/p>\n<p>1. Leaders live their businesses.<br \/>\n2. Insist on realism.<br \/>\n3. Focus on few clear priorities<br \/>\n4. Follow through on assignment &#8211; Follow-up<br \/>\n5. Reward those who do rather than who say they will do<br \/>\n6. Coach People &#8211; So they can get better at what is required.<br \/>\n7. Genuine emotional fortitude<\/p>\n<p>Let us look at Point 3 &#8211; Focus on Clear Priorities. <\/p>\n<p>It means:<br \/>\n&#8211; Focus on at most 3-4 Priorities<br \/>\n&#8211; Set Clear \/ Realistic Goals for each Priority<br \/>\n&#8211; Strive To Keep Everything As Simple As Possible<br \/>\n&#8211; Remind People Of These Priorities<br \/>\n&#8211; Continue To Talk Directly About These Priority Areas<br \/>\n&#8211; Have A Common Sense Approach To Business<\/p>\n<p>Leaders have following strengths:<br \/>\n&#8211; Authenticity : Doing what you say<br \/>\n&#8211; Self Awareness &#8211; Being comfortable with your strengths<br \/>\n&#8211; Self Mastery &#8211; Knowing what you are talking about<br \/>\n&#8211; Humility &#8211; Keeping your ego in check<\/p>\n<p>B.
