Tees Maar Khan has been in the news from Day One ! Farah Khan had tried to outdo Om Shanti Om marketing for TMK – from the name to the marketing promos, from the conception of the movie to the Sheila Ki Jawani Number, from the Farah-SRK-fight to Salman-wooing tricks.
But her Bollywood spoof fails. The movie does not have a soul ! It is a hotchpotch of funny dialogues (not always funny!). Farah Khan has fallen in her own trap. Akshay Kumar’s bad run continues – Blue, Khatta Meetha, Action Replay and now TMK ! Hopefully Patiala House will help him. He needs a serious re-look at his choice of films and try something different now – time to reinvent himself ! Katrina’s silly acts and over-acting of Akshay Khanna do not help.
Munni Wins ! SRK Has The Last Laugh !

I recently read Absolute Khushwant: The Low-Down on Life, Death and Most Things In-Between by Khushwant Singh & Humra Quraishi. It is another refreshing, honest and delightful Book by Khushwant Singh. His simple, no-nonsense, friendly and conversational style is always a pleasure to read. His unique perspective on important events of the country and important personalities is insightful. He speaks about why he supported the Emergency, his fondness for Sanjay Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and his dislike for Advani. He tells why he returned his medal to the Government.
The candidness, transparency and courage to write all the personal stories is something that indeed separates him for the others. He speaks about love, life, death, sex etc. Khushwant is an author I like reading again and again !
But, Train To Pakistan still remains his favorite work for me.

It is that time of the year – list, ratings, rankings, best of 2010 etc. Movies, Actors, People, Events, Incident…
Time Magazine has named Facebook Mark Zuckberg has the ‘Person of the year 2010’ !
Personally, I thought it would be Wikileak’s Julian Assange. Maybe Time did not want Federal Action against it !
Who would be the Indian Of The Year 2010?
Nitish Kumar?
Saina Nehwal?
Sushil Kumar?
Salman Khan?
According to me, it has to be Saina Nehwal – bringing pride, happiness and hope to Indian sports and Indians. It was a year when she and other Indian sports persons ensured that non-cricket sports got their due and recognition. They allowed us to think about the sporting side of CWG. Sania is currently No.2 in the world. Hope she does not go the Sania way !
The UnIndian Of The Year Is The Corrupt Politician !
